Celebrating His Goodness

It is amazing to watch the hand of God move, touch and change lives. So much has been accomplished over the last year in the Dominican Republic to equip, encourage and empower the local pastors. We celebrate the Lord's goodness in making this all happen.

In 2009 we had the privilege of hosting many different conferences and training sessions for both pastors and leaders. Various short term mission teams visited and ministered from not only the United States but Canada and Denmark as well. Communities were impacted as we worked alongside of them to complete their churches and to walk the streets sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. We had several outreaches in the streets with music, drama, movies and an evangelical message. Many have received Christ as their Savior.

It was also gratifying to see a number of churches built and completed in 2009. There are still so many needs. We have put together a project page on our website for those that are interested in raising funds to complete a project. Even though it may not be possible to be the one to go, it is still possible to make a difference financially to meet the need.

Our Bible Institute was blessed to receive the use of a classroom at the local university. This alleviated our previous crowded condition at our mission house due to the large amount of attendees.

We were able to enroll more students in our scholarship program as well. This permits us to purchase uniforms and materials for the pastors' children of several villages in order that they can attend the local public schools.

Every Day Hope, a division of Every Day Ministries, was birthed as our first well was drilled in a local village. We hope this will be the beginning of future endeavors to improve the quality of life for so many people of the Dominican Republic.

These areas of growth are only a glimpse from the outside looking in. It is not possible to measure the spiritual change and growth amongst the pastors, leaders and their communities; nor can we measure the magnitude of what happens in a family when a member comes to Christ and receives Him as Lord and Savior. We stand in awe and gratitude for being able to be a part of what God is doing in the Dominican Republic.

We ask each of you to pray for the ministry of Every Day Ministries, pray for our family and pray about what part you can play in the upcoming year.

God bless you!
